Mindfulness Science and Practice

Mindfulness Science and Practice

Mindfulness is a term that refers to an increasingly popular and accessible set of mental training practices and skills that can be used to improve health, wellness, and psychological functioning in a low-cost, non-pharmacological manner.

The Mindfulness Science and Practice cluster includes researchers, scholars, and mindfulness practitioners representing a diverse range of departments across the university, towards the goal of transforming the science of mindfulness. Our team will produce innovative and pioneering collaborative research, while applying a critical scholarly lens toward what has been termed the “modern mindfulness movement.”
